    Default Car won't start with spare key? – 10-08-2014,10:56 PM
    Accidentally took my keys to work today so my mrs went to use the spare key for the car (never used before) turned it in the ignition and the glow plug light immediately started flashing. Car turned over and fired but immediately cut out. When I came home put my key in and it worked first time but every time the spare key goes in it does the same! Has the key lost it's code? If so how can I rectify it? I'm guessing big bill at audi I've noticed too sometimes my key can be a bit slow starting too is it something to do with the ignition barrel ecu? I hope not!

    I would try a new battery in the key then resync the key, should be able to find the procedure in the manual.
    A4 2.5 tdi QS (mapped)
