My TT + Rear Light Problem

Hey guys,
This is my Mk1 TT 180ps 1.8T
I need some help with the tear light covers (came when i bought car 6months ago)





As you can see there is adhesive stuff on the cover its self, is there anyway to remove it without damaging the cover itself??


And dont suggest removing them as thats the problem, i have nothing to get the covers off without damaging the lights plus id rather not waste around £100 to get some new rear lights

YOU could try warming them up with a hairdryer. And see if the glue softens enough to Peel them off.
