Wife is off on a 2000 mile round trip, so going to try the update, pooping it!

Will report back once discs are in, and I hit the button.

Revo remap also getting done this week.

    Done without any issues.

Only question I have is, disc 2 didn't run as "no device selected" message appeared.

Could it be the previous owner updated the Bluetooth?

I believe the second disc has to be run twice? I may be wrong but 99% sure

Hey, I just bought my Q7 and I wanted to update firmware to the latest one. It's 2007 model, MMI 2G High (Color screen). I saw that the maps are from 2006, so I am guessing that firmware is as old. I know that I have to update to 5150 before going to 5570. I am trying to do it myself. Thus, I wanted to make sure that 5150 (8T0.906.961) is correct firmware before updating to 5570 (4L0.998.961)?

    Oh, and it's European model.

Might be silly question but where are you getting disks from, see loads on eBay thought it was a bit of a minefield so haven't updated.

    MMI Software Update 4L0-998-961 5570 (5.5.70) - Audi A6 Retrofit Blog
I burned 3 CD-R disks and as of right now I updated to 5150 and updating CD2 Bluetooth as we speak.

Also, ignore my previous question. It's simple: CD1 updates firmware to 5150 from any older firmware, CD2 is for Bluetooth and CD3 contains 5570 firmware.
