    Default Canbus gateway – 26-07-2014,08:13 PM
    Hi there would this canbus gateway cure the flat battery issue on a 2005 Golf plus , part number 1K0907530K.. i am fitting a rcd 310 from a 2011 vw polo ..
    i will recode the gateway just wondering if this letter of gateway would be ok .

    Yup going by other threads you need to upgrade it if you're fitting a newer headunit from newer models.

    Maybe do a search on the forum just to see.

    The new canbus would be a (K) should the K be ok its from a 2007 Golf

    Always find the very latest gateway version, if its cost effective of course.

    So would you think the K version would work and also how will i know if its worked for this headunit ..once coded ..

    Hi there would the K version work and cure the battery drain and also how do you know if its worked once coded ,
