    hi guys

After reading lots of topics on here to try and find my problem ive tried everything basic with no luck

I did have a MAF problem which is now fixed.
Also a map sensor problem which i have replaced with a new part but still get the code 00575 coming up

What happens is the power is good untill you try to go over 60mph, or if your at 50mph and drop to 3rd to give it some she wont move, the revs wont go over 3k when stuck in limp mode

If you happen to press the accelerator a few times it comes back and goes ok but never got over 60mph out of the car

ive only had it a few weeks bought it from auction for £200, yes shes a old car with alot of miles but apart from this problem goes alright

heres a video of a noise i hear after rev-ing it sounds like a dump valve but would not know as new to turbos: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v...type=2&theater

If someone can help would be great

When replacing the MAP sensor under passenger headlight i did see a fail amount of oil in the box its attached too , could this me the problem?

    Many thanks

    Luke

Hi, Believe there is something spooky with your turbo. First let the engine idle and pull/ reconnect the rubber hose attached to the vnt unit. The arm should go smoothly out and in against the stop screw again. If that looks normal
take the maf with the air hose off again and check the turbo for axial play ( a bit of radial play is normal)
BTW there are no dump valve on this engine

If this is what you mean by vnt unit : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v...type=2&theater

It moved when removing hose, then goes back up when putting back on.

it has yellow paint marking on the nut/bolt/thread thing

Yepp that,s the one. Check the turbo for axial play, if the turbo seems to be ok, replace or borrow the N75 from a well running car

Just follow the rubber hose from the VNT clock and you'll find it in the other end. The best way to check it is by VCDS . Look at actual boost vs requested in graphs

new n75 valve fitted and still the same problem, if putting foot down its fine, but sometimes when you stop at a junction go to move theres no power there, slow pick up then goes. you hear the turbo sprawl building up speed then at 60 wont go over :/

Your turbo needs a strip down and clean, very easy on that engine.
