    Well the engine is back in the car now still not had it running as I need to connect all the sensors and pipes which is proving to be a little hard as there are so many that are similar and I cant see the place that they plug into

    The engine is now running and the gearbox has been refilled as I lost a little fluid when I removrd the front panel. The car is a little smokey due to the oil in the exhause but this should clear in time. The oil pressure is very good so fingers crossed ive now seen the back of any balance shaft problems.

    If the balance shaft unit is in the skip then the only halm it can do is drop on your foot.
    This is good news,and you should get some good service out of this now.
