    Hello there

    I'm playing with the idea of getting an audi a4 avant currently drove an a3 1.6fsi I'm looking at 2l Diesel engines but I can't decide between the 170 or the 140? What sort of mpg would I get? Would a Diesel engine suit by daily commute rpughly 20 to 30mins of A road national speed limits and village 30mph roughly do 10000-12000miles a year or would I be better off with a petrol? Are there any faults with these cars I'm looking at 07-08 50k on the clock any help is appreciated

    Oil pump chain smashed thru alloy case and discussion on replacement oil pump conversion kit for BLB engine

    Hve a read threw here mate...

    get a 1.9tdi b7 like I have and you will get great mpg and reliability.
