Good luck with the RS6 options, HUD is a great idea for exactly what you've explained, I sometimes wish I could have something like that on my motorbike. It's frightening how quick something so cheap will accelerate you to license losing speeds. That's why I'm selling along with not having time to use it since my daughter was born.

I contacted my local dealer for an extended test, I never heard back from them, so ordered the car from a dealer roughly 1 hour away. This was done without even visiting, which is not something I normally do, but I was ready to order from the cheapest dealer, so they one that contacted me got the order.

Just trying to figure out when mine will be based on a build week of 34/35. Though I'll be quizzing the dealer this week over the build week.

    Now time starts to drag....
Hey chesterfield, I've just been given my build week, which is week 36, so have been told that the car is due late September or early October. So yours cannot be far behind.

On another note I saw a brand new Daytona Grey RS6 this morning being delivered to a new car compound on the way to work. Lovely looking beast.

Can someone please post a picture of the colour DIS? Just looking to order and wanted to know if there was a big difference or just some red lines!

Go and get a test drive or at least go and sit in one as the colour DIS makes a big difference. The reason I went for it is I didn't want the dash to look like my current car. Also check out the tech pack if you can, which includes a larger mmi screen, the touch pad etc, and have a good play with. Once I'd done that it was on my list without doubt.

Went for test drive in a BE Ultra auto yesterday. It had the standard DIS so just wanted to see the difference.

Just another thought. Do I need to spec anything to use my iphone on the new ultra model or does handsfree come as standard. The car I had on test paired with my mobile ok and allowed access to my phone book, but I forgot to ask if the test car was standard in this respect.
