There are numerous posts on here about delivery issues with 2.0 Ultras and especially BEs. From all accounts you are lucky that you are not one of the people who havehad their order cancelled. Is yours a manual or s-tronic. Seems the s-tronics are suffering massive delays

Ordered an S-tronic BE with no additional options. Dealer advised me that delivery may be September at time of placing order, so did their bit in setting expectations. The fact we are now in September and still no build week tallies with your comment. I am aware that Audi are cancelling orders for Showroom / Demo stock to try and address customer backlog, which is across multiple A6 variants - BE, Ultra and also Allroad I understand. Keeping everything crossed mine doesn't get cancelled - apparently I am the 2nd in the queue at my dealer awaiting confirmation build week.

My order for a 2.0 ultra manual was placed at the end of April. Went status 20 (build week confirmed) 30th June for b/w 14th July. Factory was closed all of August according to dealership. Left the factory yesterday and en route to port. Expecting to collect in 2-3 weeks.

Vasman. I would check with you dealer. I was one of the 105 orders cancelled for a BE Avant Ultra stronic. My deposit was taken, but no build date. I have now re-ordered the same car and have been told it will be the new year before I have a car. I'm going to wait as I want it to be a facelift car. Good luck.

Not restricted to ultras either. Some RS6 orders are also now not confirmed apparently. According to dealer mine is still on course to be built next week, but whether that turns out to be the case remains to be seen.

Hope you get yours. Waiting for mine is bad enough, but waiting for an RS6 would be torture

Did you manage to get the same deal on your new order by any chance?

Also I ordered mine at the start of July and it's due to be built next week, so only a 4-5 weeks to wait now..

Contract hiring, so dealer said he would match the quote give or take £5 per month. Hope yours arrives ok.

Wow -thanks for the reply Reggiebusa - shocking to hear of yours being cancelled. Bad news all round. I have been in regular contact and as of last Friday mine hadn't been cancelled, but have emailed them today after seeing your post. Fingers crossed.
