A Real Dilemma.... advice please ;)

Well, I have a 2013 A6 Avant S line 2.0 diesel 177 bhp in Daytona grey which I bough in January last year,

My dilemma is...... I have a good offer on the table for a 3.0L 245 S line Avant Quattro same spec, same colour...
I have not yet driven a 3 litre quattro,

my heart tells me ..... "power up the Quattro"

my my head tells me... changing your car after 16 months is madness....

Questions :
Is the 3litre Quattro as good as I imagine
is the engine smoother and quieter than the 2 litre.

mainly. like with the new "ultra" ...... will Audi bring out a new 3 litre diesel for the 2015 model year.

what to do ... ??
however, if this is the biggest problem I have to deal with at least it's not all bad.... right ?

The latest iteration of the A8 now comes with an upgraded 3.0l diesel with 258 bhp vs 245 of the current A6/A7 version. No doubt the newer engine will find its way into the A6 sometime soon. The 245 version is stilll a gem though ...

Don't forget the new one (when it comes) will come with a adblue tank, won't be any smoother and apart from ved savings will offer no additional benefits.

Don't worry about it. According to other threads the MY15 changes are minimal on the A6.

Go for it. btw you "fire up the quattro" powering it up just isn't the same !
