Glad to see how the fancy systems work in the new wagon, not so happy that one of the new led bulbs fizzled already!
As I said above, you do get what you pay for...
    Good job I got spares.

And just to bug you while driving

Definitely get some high quality ones, preferably branded ones like Cree.

The guy I got my DRL lights from sells the Cree bulbs and they're top notch, search the forum for EM Tuning and you'll find the details.

Yep, sounds like a better plan Chris.
    I will seek them out.
Ordering a set of Osram H7 dipped beam bulbs tonight so hopefully have the headlights out again this weekend

Osrams are awesome, I have them in my dipped but might get some for the main beam next time I'm over in Euro Car Parts.

I'm a committed ebayer Chris! Bought some from a UK motor parts seller so should be original Osram night breaker.

Got some more work done on the cubby build.
    False floor in.

Power hooked up to the amp and RCA's spliced in.

The wife is mad as hell as I break out the fiberglass, it stinks.

Trimmed it up a bit more and test fitted, all good.

Did the bin bag and buckets of water volume check.
17 litres, but ALOT of that is going to disappear as the sub is fitted...

    Thanks!

    It's only a 10" :0

This is the Hertz Mille ML2500, their flagship SQ sub, it will take 500W RMS all day long, is has a huge excursion but isn't designed to break SPL records, it had very tight suspension and will reproduce very low frequencies, the suspension stiff as it is, it's fine running as IB (infinite baffle) if you can seal the front from the rear.

I have been running 2 or 4 subs to wire down to 2 or 1 ohm and get the most power/SPL from my amplifiers, but this car deserves some more refinement that the last few motors!
The F150 crew cab truck ran 4 8" subs with just shy of 2kW and was term lab checked at over 141dB at 35hz, but it was limited in range and wasn't as musical as it should have been.
This guy in the sealed box will only make somewhere in the region of 130-133dB but should have great musical response.
