Had a bit of a search but couldn't see an answer to this but why don't the sLines and BEs come with traditional front fog lights?

Are they integrated in to the main light unit?

    Slightly confused...

i don't own one yet as I'm awaiting delivery, could it be due to the fact they have the led daytime running lights? Still you would need one for the back at least.

Picked mine up yesterday, full led fronts the fogs are built into the main unit and they are called all weather lights. Button is next to the main light switch. Will take pics later to show you inside and the difference when on. I did try the briefly last night to see and the light throwing pattern does change. They are also used when cornering at low speed.

Highly technical explanation here: Just ordered a BiTdi - should I add a panoramic sunroof? - Page 7

Then some braniac kicks in with his own interpretation.

Back to the original question on European market cars with Xenons there is an extra bulb in the headlight unit that operates as an All Weather light

The space used for the fog lights on non-Xenon cars is then used for the sensors for the Active Cruise Control when fitted

Also on cars with adaptive Bi-Xenons the All weather function is provided by the main headlight unit and the bulb that provides that function on the normal units becomes the cornering light
