What are opinions on Three? I'm currently on Vodafone and have been for last 13 years however they are very expensive compared to the deals offered by Three.

I'm looking to move to The One Plan offered by Three for £15 a month as they will be offering 4G with unlimited data for no extra charge.

Any advice much appreciated as I travel a lot and good signal is important.

Don't have a 3 network myself but a few of my mates do...on their experience I wouldn't bother....their signal is crap. I'm on Vodafone and yes, they are more expensive sure, but for a reason. Always get a good signal with them...I've tried others like virgin and o2, Vodafone everytime for me now.

If you travel a lot then Voda are possibly the better option. I have got a 3 mobile broadband contract and use in in a MiFi adaptor. It does the job and with a 15Gb allowance a month it aint bad.

I thought BT used the O2 network? My first contract was on BT Genie that then became O2.

I'm on giffgaff which uses O2. £12 a month gets me unlimited web, texts and 200 minutes to any network.

No 4G yet tho until O2 upgrades I suppose.

Work phone is paid for which is also on O2.

3 has little signal in my current area and from colleagues who use it in Belfast, it drops and isnt very reliable there either.

I've been with 3 for last two years and have little to complain about. But its about the only decent network at work and that was a primary reason. Also get 3G at home which I don't get with most other providers.

Love the unlimited data and get good speed. However if there's no 3G connection you may as well make a fire and get a blanket.

Contract up in Nov but doubt I'll switch.

    Thanks for all replies.

I might just try and get a retention deal with Vodafone and upgrade to 4G.

Apart from pricing issues I've not really heard bad things about Vodafone. But then in life you normally do get what you pay for. Also as mentioned in my OP I've never had issues with Vodafone in the last 13 years that I've been with them.

They are also investing £900 million in the next 3 years to catch up on the 4G side to compete with EE.

I still believe that if you want value for money then Three are unbeatable.
