The tolls on the tunnel are steep coz they dont want cars in it, it was built to keep lorries off the roads apparently.
Typical Irish job, spend a bucket load of taxpayers cash on a leaky tube then don't encourage people to use it

Apart from the normal influx of Obama-influenced coppers coming into Dublin, not many on the way down (not that I noticed).

Bit more traffic picked up once I passed Drogheda, was quieter heading North than coming South tbh

We seldom see them especially in the country, much more police especially traffic corps in NI. Glad your back safe if poorer!

Going to Dublin Airport, am I right in saying I'll only pass the Drogheda toll and won't be on the M50 at all?
