Hi all. Looking for a help. My 58 plate golf has its engine management light on. Confused though because the car runs spot on and pulls like a train as always. I've even run it on the motorway in case it was a dpf issue. Ive looked around the engine, even had pipes of the turbo to see if theres an issue there but cant see any issue. So im assuming its electrical maybe air mass sensor or egr?? anybody had this experience? It's got almost 72k miles on it. Thanks.

You need a fault code scan done.

Have you checked if your injectors are subject to a recall?

Yea I guessed I'll have to get it diagnosed, just people my have had similar issues. It was a former company car through arval, which is what made me buy it with its full vw service history and had been well looked after. So I'd guess its had a recall but i'lll call that number as well. Thank you

Without a scan we will be guessing possible faults all night long.

Try the number anyway, no harm in ringing a free number

You will have checked your air filter is not clogged with dirt won't you? If that is blocked a new air filter should cure it. Won't take you long.
