    Hello - excuse my ignorance on this matter - my A6 avant is due next month, and what I do know is that i didn't pay for this option. I wish I had. I currently drive an HSE Discovery which has it, it's VERY useful and I forgot to request it on my new car (until too late). From what I am picking up, is there some sort of retro programming to make it happen? Would be great if so! Thank you.

    Yes, find someone nearby with VCDS (or buy it yourself) and enable it. There are some other options that are quite fun, they're listed in a thread at the top of this sub forum.

    I predictably went for Vehicle In Motion, needle sweep & mirror dip - don't let this thread put you off. I now use the option when I want to rather than by default, which minimises the chances of a problem.

    Wuffles- what is vehicle in motion. I understand the mirror dip and needle sweep I am going to do those when mine arrives on the 1st March.

    Enables video playback over 2mph or whatever the restriction is by default. Handy for me anyway.
