07-09 2.0Tdi or 1.9 TDi -which more reliable and any known issues?

Hi,Looking at 08 1.9 and 09 1.9(one WITH a DPF) but wondering if would be better with a later 08/09 2.0 as had been
avoiding up to now due to injector issues.Remember dealer once telling me unlike Passat etc where he always recommended
the 1.9 over 2.0 for dependable reliable motoring he had in fact more recently seen fewer issues with 2.0 golfs than 1.9s.

Has the 2.0 DPF 09 golf have the CR engine as in the passat highline 08-?

Had been set on a 1.9 pre DPF preferably but 09 1.9 with DPF has come up now so not sure if this engine has any specific issues?

I ran a 1.9 Match with a BLS engine and it was fitted with a DPF for 4 years.
Had it from new Jan 09 and it was great. Only repair was an exhaust gas pressure sensor failure (which might have been me as the culprit).
I booted it up a hill in 3rd towing a caravan when it failed. Easy fix at £170 (dealer price)
Gave 55mpg around the doors. 60+ mpg on a long run and 38mpg towing a Sprite Alpine 2 berth.
