    Guys,
    Can this be done ?

Car is 2011 A8. I bought some nice chrome valves but after which i remembered about the tyre pressure monitoring. I know there is a bit in the mmi where its set but not sure if it can be disabled?

Try in your CAR menu, failing that VCDS should be able to switch the whole lot off.

Does your MMI show the temperature of each tyre or just a warning when one is flat?

    Hi Chris,
Not sure as the system has never displayed any warnings. I briefly remember seeing the tpms module within the mmi whilst messing about.

Okay so after doing a quick google the D4 uses the in-direct TPMS which uses ABS pulses so you don't need to worry about the valves.
