Sat Nav problem? Or user problem? Can't select postcode entry.

MMI 2g High (I think - colour DVD sat nav). It's not a major issue as I tend to use the town/road/number entry mode because 5 digit postcode entry is rubbish BUT... when I enter Nav mode, and press the control know down, it always skips to town/road selection, and I don't get offered the postcode option at all - but I have I know used it in the past (had the car a few months and inevitable played with it initially)

What am I doing wrong? Disc doesn't skip at all, seems to work perfectly when I need it - except for no offering postcode selection. I'll probably take the opportunity to RTFM again when I'm off next week, but in the meantime any sugestions?

Reboot your MMI

Hold in Setup + Central Control Knob + inner top right key all at once.
