Audio issues with MMI

It did a restart and is now Saying:

Bootloader Version 2.40
MMI (H43) application update
Search CD Players
Search Download CD
Search Metainfo File
Read Metainfofile
MOST bus unlock

Then re-booting and doing the same again

Sounds like its locked in bootloader, but A8 will know how to solve

remove the cd

disconnect the battery for a while

reconnect and try the mmi as normal

if ok re run disc 1

I removed the cable with the negative symbol, but the MMI remained on. Am I being really stupid?!

very odd, remember to turn your ignition key on before reconnecting incase you get an airbag in your face

I had a battery check done had both cables off then back on

Is this regular thing Chris?? airbag going off?? would not having ignition on & reconnecting battery cause spark at reconnection??
