    I recently bought a 2002 Sharan but the vehicle only came with one key but no remote. Is there anyway to get a fob from ebay and code it if so do i need a particular part number???

    Hi there,

    You can program new remotes with the right diagnostic equipment.

    Part numbers are relatively generic but I always recommend checking against the chassis with the main dealer. Be aware of eBay. Some PCB's are of very low quality and last mere weeks.

    Reset procedure can be done through Adaptions in either the Central Lockng (45) or Convenience (46) modules. Channels 04 to add and 02 to remove. Please double check this info with me before doing and I will confirm.
