The rSAP issue is an Apple one rather than an Audi one - and yes, it still exists. So you will need a separate SIM.

Not just an Apple issue rSAP is no longer really being offered. Android phones offer require an app in order to allow them to support rSAP. Next generation cars will adopt Apple or Google car apps so the issue should go away. Still can't really understand why in this day and age car manufacturers can't work via wifi connection between the two devices for all the smart features since the phone stuff can all be handled by Bluetooth

After one months of owndership of MY2014 A6 Allroad 3.0tdi 245ps I have purchased a new Ross Tech VCDS

    have enabled:-
    needle sweep
    chirp on lock
    fog lights on turning

i have tried but as yet not got the keyfob to close the boot - but will give it anither go. Also need to do the VIM thing too.

Has anyone had the battery meeting working on 3G+? I can't see any examples of it from searching the web.

    Hi guys
need a bit of help from the vagcom gurus here.
Tried activating the vim on my facelift and the security access code from the links don't work. Tried both codes now and they are both invalid.
Also tried activating handbrake in park mode and that brought up the module has not been initialised do you want to load default values. So I thought I better not mess with the handbrake so left that too.

    Any help appreciated.
    Cheers

also got the lap timer to work

but implemented the battery status but could not find it in the menus so presume thats a step too far

    Hi Folks,

for the VIM, what is channel 48 called? going down the list of channels there are numerous 48 with all sorts of descriptions.
Another VCDS user has told me that it might not need the security code, either way it will be on the list of adaptation whether i need to use security code or not. if its not there, it just wasnt meant to be.
