Audi AUX

Hi Guys

Just replaced my radio as concert was skipping and only 2 gb cards so i thiought sack it get another one which cost me in total of 200 quid. Now its in all working fine but in media i get the AMI option even though its not installed yet but no AUX option. Is there any way to enable this so i can use this??

You will have to get someone to change the coding of the radio to suit your car.

You can add AMI (I think) if the headunit has a Media button

As above, it's just a case of coding the car to tell it you don't have the AMI, but do have the Aux, Probably a 5min job for someone with Vag-com and the knowledge of where to find it.

He has fitted all my audio and AMI equipment for me, and would know exactly what to do, if you can't find someone nearby to do it for free.

Vag-COM cable is not a problem.. I just need to know what to do when in there.. What needs chaging to get this working

I had a look earlier online and it looks like the 56 - Radio module goes by long coding so it should just be as easy ticking and unticking the relevant box to match the equipment fitted.

I have tried this and in vag com ticked the aux installed but still this does not show when pressing the media button???

Is there anything else or would i have to disable one to get the other??

Press media, then one of the inner keys should relate to source on the screen.

Did you reboot the radio after making the changes?

Im not sure how its done on the Concert though. It (should) say in your radio manual but I'll go off and look online.

Okay - This may work and it may not but hold in SETUP, central dial and the top right inner key and (hopefully) the radio should reboot.
