    Yes. It's working now thankfully for some reason?? Maybe the signal or ECU was confused on the first test drive. It's a completely different car to drive now.

    Hi, I'm going to resurrect this after a year but how did you go about changing the clutch switch?

    I'm having trouble with the cruise control on my mk5 2009 Jetta 2.0tdi 6 speed manual.

    As the car should not start without the clutch pedal being depressed, I believe the clutch sensor is the issue. It starts fine without the clutch being depressed and also does not display a message stating that it should be.

    Anyone got any idea of the price of new part?

    I've seen a diagram of the clutch pedal/cylinder setup and the switch is in the engine bay. Just wondering if anyone has any experience of removing/replacing the switch or any info on how to access it?
