Looking for some help with resetting warning in DIS/MMI. I used the SRI option (Flexible Oil Service Reset - Long Life - GB - Diesel) on Vag-com 10.6.4 (Current value was 1 on channel 02). The programme showed new value as 0. Routine ran and the code was set to 0, however, in the MMI screen it still shows the Service Due counter (currently 900miles ago !! and climbing). I ran the routing again via control module 17 Instruments and tried to change channel 02, stored value 1 (Yes it reverted back to 1) to 0. Test and Save performed, value set to 0, but still showing in MMI and DIS screen.

All other value were changes (Distance and Time to oil change). The car is set to variable service on a 143 TDI SE.

    Help much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Mike

Thanks for the reply. Do you know what figures I should enter into these channels?

Channel 50 - Basic Distance Value for oil change - Current value = 145 (x100km)
Channel 51 - Basic Time Value for oil change - Current value = 365days
    Channel 52 - Basic Distance Value for inspection - Current value = 300 (x100km)

These were set by the SRI function. Do I have to go in via the Instruments option ?

    Thanks

    Mike

No luck I'm afraid. The car is in an Audi independant today and I've asked them to reset the service light. I'll quiz them on how they did it. Will let you know how I get on.

    Cheers

Service reminder finally reset. The garage reset the car to pdi (pre delivery inspection) and then reset service through Sri (service reset indicator) option in Vagcom.

    Hope that helps.

I have 2008 new shape Audi A4 Tdi. the service Due wont go away with normal VAG tools.
I have original VAG and since I updated the software from ROSS it has now got service reset in the service options.
In service options you cant select individul channels like 50 or 52 or 53. its all done for you.
I just select the service reset ( time or mileage) then hit reset and it reprograms all those boxes in the car and service due goes away.
Done mine and been driving for a month now, no problems.
my email is: walkonwater80@hotmail.com. will be glad to help anyone with any questions.
