    hi,would anybody have technical data on fitting new timing chain to seat 3 cylinder AZQ engine 2003..

    Too technical for non-VAG people, I think. I am just about to have the revised kit ( of sprockets/chain/revised plastic tensioner and guide for the other side of the chain/hydraulic capsule for bottom of the left-hand plastic tensioner moulding) fitted by a SEAT dealership for ~ £300 inclusive.
    At least the chain has not yet broken, saving the cost of bent valves.
