    so sorry guys, I haven't replied

    The reason being is, as in another of my posts. The car was in for soem warranty work, mini service and an MOT....They fitted another brand new set of lights for me so I didn't have to worry about the issue just yet

    No doubt I'll be tackling it at some point soon though

    MY2008 (58) XJ X358 2.7 Tdvi Sovereign
    LWB remapped to 245bhp, Black, Ivory leather interior with black piping, 20" Alloys
    MY2007 Audi A6 2.0 Tdi SE (BRE)
    176bhpStratos Blue.Front & Rear park assist,Comms Pack High,19" RS4 alloys,Rear tints,Dipped bulbs 80W,Mainbeams & Foglights 100W,Number plate LED's,Interior LED's

    Did you manage to get this sorted? I have a very good step by step if you want I will send it to you.

    I have just swapped mine out to LED's, courtesy of another memeber of this forum selling theirs. The look awesome!

    The removal instructions are in the owners manual! Pages 345 - 348!

    Hi Im having problem removing my rear light to replace bulbs, checked the manul but no luck! Coudl you send me details on removal? Its the refit of the plastic strip between the light and boot thats causing me grief! What a terrible bit of design..
