rear wash not working (mot)

On my fabia 52 reg the rear window does not wash, is this a mot failure? Its due in 3 week’s, the pump sounds like its working and checked pipes in the back panel of the boot all connected any ideas welcome

No, only the front washers and wipers have to work for the MOT test.

Hi these so suffer with pipes coming apart and join in several places. There is one on the bulkhead on the passengers side that is common to come apart along with on the wiper motor itself or behind the trims on the passenger side in the boot.

easiest test is to fill your bottle up to the top and then work the washers, if the level frops you have a pipe come off but if the level stays the same the jets may just be blocked.
