    When I ran the dionostis Vag-com programme on my Polo 6n ,an engine error code ... P1444 came up - potentiometer for EGR - Implausible signal.

    any ideas how i can address this myself?

    LOL why didnt you read that in the first place then :P as far as i am aware, certain codes only can be read and cleared the more 'technical' codes are only read in the full version.

    the other option if you want to do a full diagnostic is to get a code reader, around £30, but for what its worth, you may as well outlay for the vagcom license

    The reason I asked was -that I recently cleared a code and after a while it keeps popping lighting up again. I think I have fixed the problem but the light comes back on after a while-Can't get rid of it.
