Tail Pipes

Hi, I have ordered a A3 1.4 tfsi s line in Ibis white, it is due next month but I have just seen some pictures on the net showing it with a single tail pipe? Can someone pase confirm that it comes with a tin tail pipe rather than the single.

Sorry meant to say twin tailpipes not tin!!!!!!

my understanding is the 1.2, 1.6 and 1.9 tdi have single tail pipe. The 1.4 has double/twin. Well mine does...

Thanks it looks much better, im very new to this forum where can i find pictures of members cars? More specically your car as I believe its the same.

My 2.0 TDI 140 has a single. This may be due to start/stop now being fitted. I just presumed that all MY10 onwards are now single?

Welcome to the fourmYup my 1.4 TFSI Sportback Sport has twin tail pipes a nice touch mines a 2010 year model so believe the should still have the twin tail pipes as standard.Also says 1.4 T on back instead of TSI like it does on the Golf

Moe, does your car have the start/stop? I have got that on mine so hopefully thats not the reason you see some with single tail pipe?

my dad got a 1.4 in march this year. (s-line) it has stop/start but still has twin tail pipes.

Yup, came with the start/stop feature and mine still has the twin tail pipes I am a bit surprised to find out that some 1.4 T come with single tail pipes as on the Golfs with the same engines they have twin tail pipes as well, stange
