    Default Seat belt warning light while driving – 30-05-2010,11:52 AM
    Hi Team,

    This is a real strange one.
    I have a A4/B5 Avant. A couple of weeks ago I started to experience a random miss. No significant errors on VagCom. Chased thru as many connectors as can find re clean and reseat. The annoying indicator is that as it misses the seat belt light comes on momentarily. Looked in the Hayes and no sign of the seat belt warning light circuit. Is this indicatoir circuit mixed in (fuses etc)with the engine management circuits ?? Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated. Tks from the other side of the world... (Aus)

    there isnt a circuit as such, the reminder justs lights up with ign and stays lit for 10 secs ish and thats it

    its not normally activated on uk cars, and not got a clue why it would come on with an engine fault sorry
