Hi, I have a dog friendly boot liner but am looking for a boot mat.

There are loads on ebay but would prefer a reccommendation.

This is the type of thing I am after.

    Suggestions?

    Cheers Stuart.

Looks just like the one that I got from e-bay when I got my mat. Does the job, fits well, I'm happy with mine.

Don`t even think about a dealer one, they are utter rubbish.

I fail to see how anything off E-bay could be worse VFM.

I bought an Autoform bootliner from roofbox.co.uk for another estate (not a passat):

    http://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbv...m&prodid=17059

I was really pleased with it. They are made from tough moulded plastic and have a small lip (about 2") to keep spills contained. They also have cutouts for any lashing points etc.

    Autoexpress reviewed them here:

    http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/product...oot_liner.html

About the only downside is that they don't have a non-slip covering so things may slide around.

    Overall, thoroughly recommended.

Edit: forgot to say... we have a dog too, and with a dog blanket in place things don't slip around, and it just makes it very easy to clean the boot - pull the whole lot out and give it a quick shake.

A friend of mine got one from eBay, it's nice and thick and more like a good quality rubber floor mat than a plastic sheet with Passat written on it, I've not seen the dealer ones so I can't really say if they are any good or not, they're about £42 iirc, but the bay one was £24 iirc for the saloon.

I've got the first one you posted, good thick rubber, fits well and does the job.

Been pleased with it, didn't fancy the plastic ones for the reasons of things sliding as mentioned!

Thanks everyone for the comments, went for the ebay one.

Same seller had another one listed but slightly cheaper so being a northern type went for that. Looks like the same item though.

    Paid £30.

Will update the thread when it arrives.

    Cheers Stuart.

Boot liner arrived farily quickly. I have had to cut it down to fit but no probs doing this.

Its made from quite thick rubber but will also roll up if required and has "dimples" to stop items moving around too much.

    Overall, pleased with it.

    Cheers Stuart.
