    Hi guys I have a 2000my A4 1.8T Q Sport & it's developed a knock/clonk which only seems to occur when the suspension is topping out, any suggestions?

    It'l be the bushes in the front arms, they always go Audi's,usually requires new arms as the bushes cant be relaced alone. Its D.I.Y'able but can be quite tricky.

    Hi A4 thanks for your reply but when you say front bushes which ones or is it all of them?

    More than likely the upper control arms (one or possibly both), or the ARB drop-link bush. You'll need to drop the strut down to access the upper control arms, and remove the strut pinch bolt that holds the control arms in place. You'll need your Weetabix before you start - the pinch bolt will invariably be siezed. Good luck.
