01772 - Signal from Level Control Pressure Sensor (G291) 27-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
    #or
    01400 - Suspension Level Control 11-10 - Control Limit Not Reached - Intermittent .

Any of the corners sagging over time? Hear compressor running more often and louder?
G291 sensor is the internal to the valve block mounted on the compressor bracket. It is the unit with the six air lines going to it as well as a 10 pin multi-pin connector under the car.
Looks like is either loose wireing or compressor is getting tired and strugling to maintain required pressure.
Quite common fault in older Allroads ecu . It doesnt necessary mean it will fail soon, mine's got it for at least two years now....

Is the fault intermittent?, does it light up the level fault light in the dash?

As all-rod, check 10 pin connection on valve assembly, this pressure senser (G291) is located there and is connected via 10 pin connector to ECU (J197) in LH side of Boot compartment, so check connections there also.

Hopefully its intermittant and does not show up too often

The fault is intermittent and does not display the level fault light in the dash.....have not had a chance to get under the car and will check the ECU in the boot and will then check back in here.

Dragging an old topic back up but where exactly is the J197 ECU? I've looked in the rear left panel, there's the toolkit and the pressure accumulator - not seeing much else? Do the interior trim panels have to come off? Or does it become obvious when you take out the cage that holds the toolkit? FWIW the opposite side panel is filled with Bose amp and subwoofer.

Hi, the module is behind the carpet side panel, to access it you need to remove the full LH side panel in the boot

    best Regards
