    Hi Everyone,

    this morning my remote central locking stop working, when I open car manually with key central locking working fine, then I decide replace battery, no luck, I tried reprogramming key fob - no luck, when I press unlock no respond from car - no flash - no horn, can anybody advise or help what can be wrong... , many thanks...

    HI Peter, yes I tried another two, which I was keepening like spare, for battery and parts, which I know before all 3 was working , now none, I can't find faulty fuse, manual central locking working fine..., I will have look tonight again..

    You will need to find an independant Vag-Cam guy to talk to your car. J429 central locking control unit could be your problem. Regards Peter

    I have Vag-com, I checked for faults everything, no any faults at all, but I will check again...

    Long Shot. Remove Fuse S238 20 amp for 30 seconds and replace it. This could be an aerial problem. You need to identify the exact year, model and engine code you have but the central locking control unit is in a plastic case under the drivers seat so it is worth checking the connector.     B e sure to use a good battery in the key fobs. With good I mean one with a high mAh capacity. Duracell DL3032 is the one with the highest mAh. Even those run out after 3 months in my case.....

    I already checked and replaced battery, still no luck..., keep searcing what can be wrong..
