hI I've only had this passat 4 weeks and 3 things have gone wrong already. Warning light for Vechicle emmisions, Airbag fault. What can these errors be?..I was playing with the fuses looking for my wiper fuse and these warnings proceeded after this. Can anyone help?..cheers

At a guess I'd say you've disturbed the system, only thing I can suggest other than going to the dealer is to undo the battery overnight and hope the ecu memory drops the codes.

Codes for emissions and air bag can only be reset with a scan tool. You need someone with VCDS. You must have pulled a fuse from a system while it was still live. The B6 is not a car to play with when it comes to electrics.

I'd agree there, is it ok to do these things like take the radio out if you disconnect the battery first though?

Electrics ok with battery disconnected. Wait 5 or 10 minutes though if you are going to touch anything near airbags. The system stores a small charge to fire the air bag even if the battery flies off in an accident. It only lasts a few minutes but I always advise disconnecting the battery and having a cup of tea before touching anything.
