Hi there, can anyone help me in getting hold of the pipe that goes from the fuel filler cap to the petrol tank for a '91 GT11? Tried everywhere I can think of but no luck. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a good second hand one or preferably one made to fit. Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Keith

It is a big problem at the moment, what you need is 533 201 129 C but getting one is a problem.

It might be needing one of these soon, as it came up as an advisory on the last MOT. Haven't GSF got any?

Impossible to get genuine, I have one at the moment that is going on a customers car tomorrow and it is being powder coated to make it last.

I've just had to replace mine. Get to the scrappy and get a plastic filler neck from a 3 series BMW (e36 I think). It needs to be heated and shaped slightly but fits like a dream and no more rusty filler neck.

That is very interesting, you should do a little story and “how to” with some pictures.

    On a slightly different note.
I`m after a replacement 55L fuel tank for the Scirocco GT11
I`m lead to believe that the MK1 golf cab tank is the same, the VAG numbers (VAG 155201075B) are the same for both cars (Scirocco MK11 & Golf MK1 Cabriolet) can anyone verify this
As GSF do have a tank listed for the Golf Cabriolet, albeit with a £174 price tag

VW classic parts list 155 201 075 B at 354.62 € + VAT so VW Heritage will be able to supply the part.
