    disrespectful has one l

    that's not really how it works....

    We issue the warning

    you take it onboard

    you alter your behaviour

    people have their views in regards to these 'free' MOTs, but are unable to air them due to their relationship with VAG UK.

    If you had applied a little common sense before replying, you would have realised that was what Crasher was mentioning.

    I would advise you to leave it there.

    I tend to take advantage of the free MOT, if they say there are problems I take it around the corner to Phil @ Elite Auto, he used to work for them but gives you an honest opinion and also charges far less. I had an A4 go and Teesside told me there was about Ł600 worth of work needed doing under ' advisory' category. I took it to Elite and I only needed part of the work doing totalling about Ł120.

    Update on MOT testing at Teesside Audi. It's been a while and need to highlight another wrongly diagnosed MOT failure. This time failure on "near side" CV joint dangerous, I thought I'm sure that was changed out in 2009 but assumed it may have been faulty. Had it checked and guess what...........<removed> managed to get the wrong side, it was the "off side" CV joint but stated on VT30 "near side". So be aware if you take your car to Teesside Audi for MOT you are putting your life's at risk. If they keep sending me MOT reminder, I will keep taking my car as the excuses are now getting rather comical, and when you need a laugh go to Teesside Audi.

    Update;

    Colebrook & Burgess phones Friday, who basically said I was privileged to be accepted by his company’s free life time MOT on my car. He stated that I was taking advantage of this as I had not used his dealership to service or maintains my car over the last 4 years. I did point out to him that his company invited me with no conditions to take this offer up and due to a grievance with this company I did not consider this dealership capable of maintaining my car. He did ask again why take my car for an MOT to his company, again I stated he invited me to do so. He then indicated that he has now removed me from the system and I will not be invited to take this free for life MOT offer on my car next year. If a company accepts feedback I have highlighted with a knee jerk reaction to remove the problem and not fix, underlines Colebrook & burgess business ethic.

    Norton - I don't believe you have anything further to add to this thread (or, perhaps even the forum), so will be closing it accordingly and will be watching your posts closely.

    please do not step out of line.
