Just checked my calender, and yes it is the 10th March, not 1st April. That is terrible. Does this mean the Eos is getting ditched? They would be best of refreshing that. Much more attractive car.

That third pic just screams Audi A3 cab.

Can't say I care for that.

But the Eos wants dumping in the biggest hole available.

I've had one,in fact two,the first was so bad VW eventually gave us another.

Something about these little short **** convertibles that just doesn't look right- Im talking A3/Golf/Micra!

Also a bit feminine- you certainly wouldn't want to be a bloke driving one

EOS- I think the plan is to replace this with a Passat CC drop top.

Yuk, yuk, yuk. Squeaky, flexing, leaky body and hood and with only two doors of course. Don't even go there

Volkswagen is reconsidering its soft-top strategy – and will reinstate the Golf cabriolet with this autumn's sixth-generation car and turn the next Eos into a Passat cabrio, CAR Online has learned.

Buyers loved it, but VW never spent a lot of money or effort on the Golf cabriolet. The first version remained in production for 14 years without major changes, and the second-generation topless Golf (actually based on the Golf Mk3) was discontinued in 2002 and never replaced.

How about with the lid up ??
