I have found some seats to replace my worn out leather seats in my a4. I have a 97 a4 2,8 quattro, and the Factory Service Manual says that I need a special air bag connector VAS 5094 airbag adaptor, are they going to go off if I dont have this connector? Will i be OK if I just disconnect the battery and have at it?

    Thanks in advance!!
