Hi all, pick up my 2006 Passat 2.0 tdi (140) estate tomorow, really looking forward to it. Just wondering however, if there are any recomended service specialists besideds VW in Exeter or Plymouth (I live in Exmouth near Exeter). Is this advisable or is it best to stick with VW servicing/repairs?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Steve

Hi from just up the road

I have never used them, so can make no recomendation, but there is an independant specialist in Pensylvania Road, Exeter.

I have used a local garage for servicing my cars for several years now because he is reliable, inexpensive, and thorough. He is also good/wise enough to advise when (very rarely) there is a job that really needs to be done by a main agent for one reason or another

Well, i popped into the place in Pennsylvania road today, looking for a place with VAGCOm to do my Cruise, and found them pretty unhelpful

However, I also found place on Marsh Barton called Volkscraft Diagnostic who were very helpful - £20 and CC now enabled anyhoo ..... seemed like a nice chap

My vote is with Matt at volkscraft, used him for my beetle and will be using him for my A3 as well. Went to the Pennsylvania road place once, never again.
