    Sweet will do...

    Do you know what fuses are for what on top of the battery - can't seem to find a fuse chart for it?

    There's the strip fuses and then the blade fuses in the small compartment.

    Cheers - fuses 6 and 7; had kinda gathered that from the big red arrows!

    Just wondered what all the others were for?

    Cheers guys...just a quickie to say thanks; fuse 6 had blown. Replaced at a cost of £2.65 and all is well again.

    I do wonder what caused it to go though!

    The pump takes a high current, which over time breaks down the fuse; it is nothing to worry about.

    have fault with abs system on my polo gti fault says hydraulic pump faulty but have replaced pump still the same clear fault drive car and at approx 20mph light comes on any ideas please help

    Hi,ive got a vw polo 1.4 twist and my ABS light came on , i took it to my brilliant local garage who spent ages trying to find and sort out the fault but couldnt, so in the end i took it to the vw garage who found it was just a fuse in the engine bay!!! nothing wrong with the ABS at all hope maybe this helps someone out there,i only joined to let people know!!!

    Just had the ABS light come on the wifes 1.4 polo twist , looked on here saw this post , checked the fuse link and BOOM ,, cracked right down the middle !!
