Originally a 1600L with a swapped out 2.0 pinto and wooden dash from the 2000E. 8 spoke chrome wheels, Pos-A-Traction Torque Twisters massive and lethal bias belted tyres.     Mine was "sahara beige" with brown roof and handled worse than the QE2.
    The car needed 5 miles warning of a roundabout....

    They were horrendous in the handling dept. I would love to get it back now though. Then we all loved our first cars I am sure.

    That was about as early as I remember too. My dad had a Min 850 and it barely took £2 to fill up.
