Hi all. I want more POWER! I was thinking of doing a turbo conversion, i can get hold of a custom turbo manifold for around £200. Does anyone have any idea how this would effect the engine if i didnt lower the compression ratio. I suppose i could try fitting two head gaskets?
Any help and advice would be much appreciated

Whered you find that price for a custom manifold? I tried getting hold of one but i got quoted silly numbers!

Also depends how big the turbo is, assuming its gonna pushing 10 or more PSI, you really should think about lowering the compression or you may well pop a cylinder, or worse. Also if compression is too high you will get detonation.

So could either lose power and really mess up how those pistons are working or pop your engine.
