Newbie - Glasgow

Hi All.

Just wanted to say 'hello'.

Originally from Middlesbrough, England but now living in Glasgow and now the proud owner of a Passat Estate B5 - 2.3L V5 (1999 Registration).

I've got a thread going in the UK Passat B5/B5.5 forum, and would appreciate if you kind folks could take a look.

I was wondering if anyone in the Glasgow area can recommend a quality garage as I need to pay them a visit to try and fix my rattle in first gear!

Was thinking of taking it to a VW garage, but worried that they'll charge me just for parking up!

Also, how much is a reasonable amount for a garage to be charging for a full service on a 2.3L V5?
