    Hi All,

    I don't have a handbook for my 2001 LT35.

Dashboard is showing an orange warning light that looks like an arrow that has been curled round in a circle. The arrow head does not meet up with the "tail".

Anybody know what it means ?

    Thanks

That sounds like the ESP/ASR light which is the stability control or traction control.

You need to really have the van fault scanned to see what the problem is.

    Hi,

I've just got the same problem. My light is flashing orange (symbol is same arrow forming a circle that doesn't quite meet up).

Will it be ok to drive until I have time to get it into a garage? I'm taking it that it means I won't have traction control - which I can survive without this week - snow and ice gone in Glasgow at moment!

    Thanks,

    Iain.

traction control?na fella, its ya imoberlizer warning light.your battery must have gone flat at some point and you tow started the motor, confuses the ecu into thinking the motor's being stolen.your ecu reconises your key but because a signal is not going through the ecu to the starter motor you get a warning light, the symbol on the orange light represents the ignition and the ecu need remapping to put it right,i know this because iv just had mine done

ive had this problem quite a lot (stupid people leaving my interior light on) it is your immobiliser light which comes on after the battery has been flat. its perfectly safe to drive just annoying watching the light flash. garage should be able to reset the system or a bit of black tape should do the trick.

might be of intrest to some one with ref to light, certain hardware/locksmiths have the obd gadget to clear it, had this done on mine when had to have new ign lock fitted and put old key into lock by mistake which put this light on (have old key taped close by sender now) might be worth asking around
