Hi, no we got no response from dash cluster - which is why i figured it screwed. Local electronics guy fixed it by reprogramming and replaced 1 chipset - cost me 140 Bharain Dinars (420$).

car ran faultlessly for two weeks n then i went back to UK for 8 days - on return couldn't find key so tried spare - which hadn't (apparently) been recoded for new dash config = same symptoms as before - car imobilised n wont start.

    Guess who's coming back tomorrow?
