Hi, hopefully some electric experts out there.

    A4 B6 Quattro 2003 1.9tdi 130,

On the OEM fog-lamps in the bumper, i have simply upgraded the stock fog light bulbs, to 45w LED versions for better lighting purposes, which has done exactly what i wanted them to do - better lights !

But when you turn them on, i loose radio reception completely.................?????????, how the hell do the fog-lights effect the radio signal ????

Turn the lights off, boom reception is back................

    Can anyone explain this ???

    Thanks in advance

    Interesting!

Did you use canbus compatible bulbs?
Have you swapped the bulbs back to halogen and see if you have the same issue?
Did you buy the new bulbs from China? If so replace with something from a reputable UK based shop and try again

Ask the manufacture for CE/UL testing certificates, my guess these are cheap Chinese imports that have had no EMC or UL testing. I do a lot of EMC testing and I've even seen cheap USB chargers cause radio interference or knockout the signal completely. Try a uk company like these people, LED foglight upgrade bulbs. Whiter light, custom look they would have to have certified products to be able to sell them in the UK.
