I have VAG-COM cable and s/w and managed to turn ON the beeps when I lock and unlock the car via the remote control. Even managed to turn on the auto locking of all doors when I drive over 5 mph.

Next, I would like to be able to unlock ALL the doors with just one press of the unlock button but cannot find the option for doing that ?

    (a) is it possible ? and (b) if so, how ?

    Yup.

    Selective Unlocking:
    [Select]
[46 - Cent. Conv.] (35 - Cent. Locking for manual window cars)
    [Recode - 07]

Write down the existing coding for future reference.
    Enter 5-digit code from below
    [Do It!]

Look at the existing Soft. Coding. If you have selective unlocking (press the unlock button on the remote once to open the driver's door, twice to open all the doors) the last digit of your coding should be an even number. To make all doors unlock, add 1 to the coding.
So, if you have a 2-door 2002 GTI that is coded for selective unlocking (00064) add one to make it 00065 so that all doors unlock with one press of the unlock button.

The above works on the Golf / Jetta / Bora / Passat etc so should work for the Polo.

    Hi All,

Sorry to bring this up again - is there any way to do this without VAG-COM?

    Thanks,

    Paddy

No, but you may be able to find a member close by or garage that would do it.

The parts in red in my quote are either/or

If you don't have [35] then you'll have [46] and vice versa
