    will that have made a difference?
    No, that code (7Q2) isn't relative to the ABS coding.

    also I really really appreciate your help!!!! FLASH2 - Jim!!
    Your welcome.

    could you possibly teach me how you came up with the codes?
    Maybe you should make sure they work for you first. It's possible I've completely misunderstood the info on the Ross-tech web site.

    Jim.

    If you still have the original ECM, can't you plug it back in and read the coding from that?

    You didn't post the vehicle data required to work out what the code should be so we can't confirm if the one you have is correct or generate another one.

    hi jim thank you for your reply , what i think i have done is i replaced the complete pump and i guess the car stored the code from the 2nd hand part then i removed the pump and fitted the original ecm to the 2nd hand block fitted it back on the car now the pump wont activate to bleed so guess its the coding power supply etc all ok is it a copy of the car data tag as earlier you require ? many thanks garry

    You work out the code like this :

    Model = 0000001
    Suspension = 0000640
    Tyre Pressure Monitor = 0016384 (I don't see the PR code (7K?) on the data sticker but given the code you already tried, I guessing the car doesn't have it.)

    From Ross-Tech web page : "Coding is the sum of the individual options." , so now you just add all those number together to get the code = 0017025

    Maybe if you tell us what the original fault was we could offer some input?
